Default Repair/service manuals

Hey lads,

Iam looking for an on-line downloadable service manual for my 1999 Series 1. Do you have to buy the whole thing for what...$20.00or can you get just the portions that you require? What about the actual book?
I'm looking to take my shifter assembly appart to change the light bulb (Auto Trans). I'm sure that the manuals show you the procedures for that kind of stuff.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Tony

Hi manuals Free to download here, How ever you must be able to use a "virtual drive" on your pc, or know how to "burn" image files to disc with Nero or similar for them to work

Thank you Urban Panzer, I'm saving to a flash drive as we speak.

Cheers,

Have you replaced your shifter bulb yet?
I just replaced mine on my DI, very simple once you figure it out.

Yes I did, it was quite simple, you are right.

I have always been a bit leary taking things apart on my Rover, sometimes it just takes some thought and it's done.
Sure as heck saves the service costs of the dealer!!
