I really like the classic round headlights on the '02, but there seem to be more 03/04 Disco's available. Is it possible to replace the new headlights with the older?

Edited for clarity: I might buy an 03/04 Disco, but I prefer the 02 lights. Can I install the old/classic lights in the 03/04?

 

Several companies are making 94-02 housings out of either plastic, stainless steel, or aluminum which hold the standard 7inch style headlight assembly which means you can install all sorts of LED head light styles from JW Speaker, Trucklite, KC, and many many more. The set I saw that just got released from a company out of TX are like 350.00 for the housings ready for any 7inch light to be installed into.

 

Thanks, but I think I was unclear (edited my original post). I'm wondering if you can install classic (single, round bulb) into an 03/04. So I would need empty housings for the 03/04 model.

 

It's doable but you'd have to rebuild the lighting bucket which while not impossible would be a major headache. Might be able to source a front clip from a junk yard and go about it that way. In short there is no simple way to go back to a 99-02 that I'm aware of.
