YOU TUBE PLUG GAP from NGK USA

I know there is a way to post the video directly, feel free to correct me on it, and verbally berate me for linking to "NGK".

Whatever. NGK are some of the best plugs you can buy.

Default Just Finished! 2000 Discovery

Great post! Hardest part for me was removing the tube. I purchased my parts (wires and plugs) from British Atlantic. Had a questions about paying $12.95 for the plugs. Further reasearch suggests I paid too much them. Found the same plugs for $6.95! Will go somewhere else for the parts next time.

It's been awhile since I had the pleasure of holding on to a live sp wire
Is it still 20000 volts?

I don't know how people have taken upwards of 4 hours or more to do this. I replaced just the wires on mine this morning (did plugs recently) in exactly 55 minutes, from the time I opened the hood until I closed it. I removed the air intake and moved the wire harness near the coils, I got up on the front of the Rover in the area of the air box and reached in behind, no special tools required. I feel bad for the guys that spend half a day or more. I guess my fairly long arms may have been beneficial, but 4 hours or more?

Great thread. Chalk up another one done! On my 2000 I only had to move the wire loom, then sat on top of engine and got my had behind to get the wires. total time for job about 30 minutes.

Would I be able to follow this for my 2004 model as well?
