Default Replacement radiator

I have looking online and there is a wide range of prices.

Anyone recently purchased a radiator? If so from where and how much?

I left a MSG for PTshram and paul grant. Waiting to hear back from them.

Paul Grant won't be able to help you, he does not deal with new parts and you don't want to buy a used one.
A decent one should run you around $300 plus a t/stat, new pressure cap and coolant.

I have a used radiator I was considering having boiled and keeping for a spare, Mike is this worth the cost or should I just scrap it?

IMHO for a D2, nope. D1 - yes, thicker rad, coper and brass, pricey.

I don't know of any shops that will attempt a repair on a composite (plastic and aluminum) radiator. The plastic gets brittle with age. I just replaced mine with one I got from British Pacific and it fit like an OE (I was kind of concerned, I've had problems with non OE radiators not fitting without "adjustments", but this one had no such problems).

The answer is no, the plastic is too brittle and the veins are so small, they don't clean out, throw the old one away.

Try not to use the All Makes, there is very little that they make that is an equal, in quality to a factory unit. Call P.T. Schram, if I am not mistaken, he gets his right out of the UK.
