Question Replacement rear bumper

I got rear-ended at a traffic light and I now need a new rear bumper. I see that there are many choices for replacement front bumpers. Is there anything out there for the rear or should I just stick with stock?

Thanks,
John

Rovertym and Hi-Country Off-Road both make replacement rear bumpers for the Disco. I have been told that Rovertym has a much better fit and finish than Hi-Country although I like Hi-Country's swing away tire carrier option.

What do you use the vehicle for? The stock rear bumper is pretty stout and will take a lot of abuse and be a lot cheaper than any of the aftermarket rear bumpers.

John,
How much wheeling if any do you do?
I believe the nicest rear bumper is the RTE, introduced about a year ago. There are others that are cheaper but not as clean looking.
I would suggest you stay away from the High Country, very roughly built and not finished at all well.

Another option is Kaymar. Their bumpers are incredibly stout and have swing-away options for your spare(s) and/or jerry can. They are profiled like stock so they do not give the additional clearance that a Rovertym bumper does.

That Kaymar bumper is a good looking bumper also.

This one's my favorite. It's got the swingaway tire carried+ jerry can holder if you want it, and it's all one piece, vs. the kaymar with jerry can holder, which is 2 swing arms.

Darn near inexpensive too, when compaired to other bumpers...

Wow, that Kennesaw Mountain stuff looks great. I didn't see any specs as to what materials they use though. Their options list tho and finish quality appear to be very good at a reasonable price.

Cool find!!!
