Replacing Cat have a gasket question
Getting ready to replace my Catalytic converter Y pipe. I've ordered the studs and manifold gaskets for the front engine manifolds. I can't for the life of me find a gasket / hardware set for where the Y pipe goes to one and connects to the intermediate exhaust pipe. It would be the flange with the two bolts upstream of the muffler. Not sure it even has a gasket and I will just replace the rusty bolts with stainless. Nonetheless I'd like to have all items on hand before I dig into it. Any help tracking down that gasket (if there is one) would be much appreciated.

There is no gasket at that coupling I believe. Been a while since I fooled with stock exhaust, but I believe it's a ball and cup.
The studs are pressed into the flange on the converter side if I recall correctly, so those should not be an issue since you're replacing the y-pipe. If your pipe does not include new nuts you'll want those.

Thanks so much Alex
