Default Replacing Front brake Disco I

I have a 1995 Disco I,my front rotors sqeaks plus have grooves intthem, iwant to replace then but not to sure. Ihave been looking at diffrent fourms on here and even a manul but I have a quick question, are therotors pressed on or can they be taken off pretty easily? I see how to take off the hub, that doesnt look to bad to do, but just curious on the rotors. i dont want to start and get caught in the middle and not be able to finish. Any help would be great thanks

the rotors should just unbolt from the hub once you have it off...

i'm actually tearing into my rear brakes this saturday for a bit of an overhaul... from the looks of it its a tad more involved than the fronts... hub, axle shafts, the whole bit has to come out... i will try to get some pictures and document the undoubtedly catastrophic outcome for everyone...

Make sure you order some new seals first, and when it is all apart, inspect/clean, grease or replace your wheel bearings.

mike, grease seal?
Should be one or two paper seals and you should replace the grease seal after repacking the wheel bearings.
If you were really going to take care of your truck, you should check and fill the swivel joints, check the preload and drain the diff .

JM-Are you replacing the rotors too? Or are you just replacing the pads?
