Replacing o2's and trans filter today...last sec questions!
Do I need a certain tool to remove the trans filter? I thought I had read it is held in place by 3 hex's? However I also saw the tool "T-26" thrown around...not sure what that is or if I need it. I don't want to pull the pan and THEN get stuck.
Also, I'm replacing all 4 o2 sensors at the same time per MIKE's advice. I also got some lectric cleaner - dumb question, but do I use the cleaner on the connector that the new sensor connects too? Or use it on everything? (both ends)
I'm guessing common sense might strike me when I get to it...
Thanks, and here's to hoping all goes well I can get more than 8 mpg's by days end!!!!! (I will also be changing my tires to 40 psi from what I've read)

In regards to the O2 sensors this helps, I do not need to change because lights are not a problem yet
but will use this youtube video if I do ever -- at bottom of message.
In regards to the Trans filter, no you do not need a special tool, but you do need to remember to not overtorque otherwise you have a tightened stripped screw on your new filter and in your next 60k you need to replace yourself or have a mechanic do. Also remember not to overtorque your trans pan wedge screws because often times these are rusty and they will strip -- learned from experience while I successfully changed. Everything is perfect now. T-26 is torx 26 you need it to remove, this is different than hex, these are torx screws.
I cleaned throttle body and replaced the air filter and seemed to run fine for gas, 12-12mpg.
