Default replacing rubber bushings

I'm going to be upgrading my springs and shocks in a month or so with OME ones and was wondering what the consensus is on replacing the various rubber bushings with new ones. I see that ABP has a complete polybushing kit for $300. The only reason I ask is it seems like if you are going to the trouble to dissasembleso much of the suspension to do the springs and shocks it seems like it might just be good to go ahead and do the bushings.

Chris,
There are no up graded bushings for a D2, only the D1's needed them.
That being said, which of the OME springs and shocks are you going to buy?

I wasn't sure as I saw this at the Atlantic British parts website and it says they are for the 99-04 models:

POLYBUSH KIT - FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION (ORANGE/STANDARD FIRMNESS)
Item: 9781

SALE: $296.95

(Reg.$349.95)

Fits:
Discovery Series II | '99 - '04

These durable bushing upgrades last up to 5 times longer than original equipment rubber bushings. What's more, we offer a number of firmness options with our Polybush Kits - allowing you to tune your ride performance from a soft to stiff ride. These polybushes will not erode from chemicals, road salts or other harmful petroleum distillates. They act like discs on your Rover's 'spinal cord', keeping radial arms and panhard rods supple and responsive. Blue polybush sets offer a softer ride, orange polybushes provide a standard ride stiffness while red polybushes offer the stiffest ride.

They are new for the D2's and if they effect the D2 the way they effected the D1's, your truck will ride more like a cattle truck.
In all my years around Discos, I can't ever remember seeing s D2 bushings fail.
I wouldn't waste the money.

Mike I kind agree, I have had only a few bushings fail on various cars, mainly the rear leaf spring bushings on an Isuzu Trooper I once had. I don't see anything wrong with any of mine but thought it best to ask as once you get it all torn down it makes sense to do all that is necessary.

Happy New Year Mike!
