Smile Report on another 1500 miles trip...

Hi.
KY to NC outer banks round trip, again. Not a hiccup.

Before taking off, replaced rotors and calipers with remanufactured 'ACDelco'. The newly replaced left one showed a little drag and was replaced again by warranty. Now ALL 4 rotors are COLD to touch after a while at 60mph and stopping without applying brakes to sense temperature by hand.

No more shaky steering when braking, and interesting, at red lights without applying brakes, vehicle slides at the slightest slope on the pavement, something not experienced before. Mileage in the vicinity of 19.1 mpg on somewhat hilly freeway I64, on autopilot 95% of the time, pulling an utility trailer loaded with ~400 pounds,

but not precisely determined yet. Whenever I have exact mileage figures will let know. (It's a rear wheel drive ONLY bastard)

Coolant temperature 75C (167F) to 85C (185F) with non-stock radiator and non-stock in-line 82C (180F) perforated thermostat on ~22C (72F) ambient; ~2200 rpm 95% of time.
Oil consumption ~half quart. Coolant consunption ~half quart.

Thank you for the report. It brings me hope about some potential ski trips up to BC with similar mileage...

Coolant consumption? Uh oh. Time for a pressure test or an HC test, you shouldn't consume any coolant.

Driving 800 miles from one side of Cali to the other averaged 18mpg with 31" wheels. I also drove like a grandma and didn't go much higher than 2k rpm
