Retrofit Original Parking Sensors DII
Hi guys,
I have a discovery II from 2003 and I am planning to extend some of its equipment. I already found how to retrofit the cruise control and steering wheel radio controls. I also found out that all the wiring is already there. But for the sensors I couldn't find much, do you guys maybe have a link or something where they describe what I have to buy and to do?
Also I was wondering which way would be the best to lay multiple cables at. The last time that I laid cables for speakers and amp I did it from radio-shaft to windscreen-pillar to roof to c-pillar to trunk. Is there a better way? The floor doesn't seem to have much room I found and I would like to lay some new cables.
Best regards
carlos

If you have an 03/04 SE, I think you may already have sensors and wires run out there. That's how it is on my 04 SE and from what I can find, if I add the PDCC module and the button, I'd be able to activate it with nanocom or something. I haven't gotten around to attempting it myself because I'm not sure if I'm going to do a rear metal bumper yet. Not sure if any aftermarket bumpers will be able to retain that function so once I figure out if more armor is in my future, I'll either do a rear camera or try to retrofit the PDCC module.
