We have our 2001 discovery and a 2008 Tacoma so we call them the disco and the taco.

 

wife named our '03 "Nigel" i call it donkey, or rover.

 

The "Green Goblin" - No reason other than it sounded cool and mine is Epsom Green. And I have done many mods in the last 2 years, to make it look more goblin like. It was totally factory for the first 2 years I owned it.

 

"Rover" or "Landy" I have never named cars, and because of a girl I met when I moved away to college, I never will.

...as we left the party, we walked to her car who she introduced as "Klaus"...a 1987 Buick Regal Sommerset. I asked about the name...she said he was a German bisexual boy. Uh. OK....

I ignored the fact that her German bisexual car was a GM, only because she was dressed in high heels, panties, and strategically placed electrical tape.

 

My former 2000 Disco (white/grey) was "Cassandra", as it seemed to fit for a high-maintenance girl with some miles on her.....

Both my F350's have names as well, "dolly" - '01 white/tan, and "keisha" - '99 black/tan.

Just bought a '02 red/tan disco, and currently trying to pin down a name. "ginger", "molly", and "dammit" are currently in the lead......

 

1999 Kinverson Orange DiscoII - "Elizabeth" as in Queen Elizabeth - Or "Liz"
2005 Mercedes 230 Kompressor - "Gunter" well, we named the rover and didnt want the car to be jealous.

 

Matilda, is what she goes by... she may not be the prettiest girl on the block but damn she sure does no how to please her boy.
