Rocker Cover Bolts???
Hello All,
I'm leaking oil around the rocker cover gaskets and i want to tighten them but...... the bolts on my 03 are 12point. I don't have a 12 point small enough to fit on the bolts so I'm trying to find it online as the 5 hardware stores on this island don't have what I need. What size are they and what socket do you guys use?
Thanks

RE: Rocker Cover Bolts???
Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy...this is standard Rover leakage. For some odd ball reason the bolts that hold the rocker covers on vibrate loose over time and then the valve covers start to leak.
Next time you go to Sears pick up a 12pt 8mm 1/4" drive socket.
Replacing the valve cover gaskets is a job and a half.
