Lightbulb Rockwell N.C:Looking for the previous owner of this white 2004 Disco 2 SE7

I'm purchasing a white 2004 Disco 2 from a seller in Rockwell North Carolina, and want to connect with the previous owner and learn about past service/maintenance done on the truck. The rig has a 2" terrafirma lift, tf shock towers and the headliner has been redone. Chances are its a fellow enthusiast. Looks like the truck had serious engine issues as the top end is pulled apart. Im picking her up in 3-4 weeks and plan on swapping over my engine and accessories before making the trip back to NH.

Thanks in advance

That is an 03, not an 04.
So it doesn't have a cdl, unless someone added one.

According to the seller, its a 2004. It has the robust roof rails and the cdl diagram above shifter which indicate its a 04 model year.

Those are the pics the seller sent me. I had to zoom in with windows photo viewer. But yeah its an 04. Im just curious if the previous owner is on here. There is a pirate sticker on rear windshield; possibly a Muddy Chef Challenge participant. Not sure about the vin, wont see it until I get down there. Already bought the truck, just need to put aside some gas money and get time off from work.

If you have any spares left over that you want to sell: I am looking for the transfer case, shifter and linkage to add CDL to my 02. Also looking for a Mantec air intake but I am sure you will be transferring that over.

Best of luck with the swap!!!

Have you asked Mike where he bought it and from whom?

I asked Mike to keep his eyes open for a rust free 2004 in either White or Black. He found this here truck and bought it using some of the money I already paid him for the chassis. My brief understanding was that it was a spur of the moment transaction between Mike and the previous owner of this truck. Not much else is known unfortunately.

Anyone interested in parts from my old truck will have to go through Mike because Im giving him the truck as part of the deal. Im definitely keeping the Mantec raised air intake, bumper, winch, roof rack, ladder, light bars, wheels and tires and recovery gear. Most everything else will be up for grabs. The cdl still works and shifts alright and the transmission has never been a problem even at roughly 170k.

One of Mikes friends will be meeting up with me in Rockwell to do the work getting everything swapped over. Hopefully we can get everything swapped over in less than 2 days...
