Default Roof rack question

willl a rack off a D-1 fit a D-2? I know the length of the vehicle changed, but did the width of the roof, or the gutters?

I want to say it's just the length that changed between models but I'm not 100% positive.

Edit-roversnorth sells a half length roof rack that fits DI and DII so the width must be the same.

If you're talking about an SD rack they look funny if they are switched. It's either too long or short by about 6".

A DI rack will fit a DII and vise versa.
Mount the rack all the way forward like normal but it will be to short, if you mount it towards the back then it wont match the slope in the roof.

Somwhere I have pics of a D2 rack on a D1, and a D1 rack on a D2. Both are SD racks.

Here we are:
First is a D2 with a D1 SD rack. The rest are of a D1 with a D2 SD rack.
