I just bought a 2002 disco for 3k at an auction has 189000 miles i bought it because it had a full size basket roof rack with four lights, a winch front bumper with brush guard and warn winch, winch looks like it has never been used, i will put the rack, winch and bumper on my 2000 disco and sell the 2002 but probably can't get 3k for it how much is the rack, winch bumper and winch worth?

 

I am sure more info (model numbers, pictures, etc) will be needed by the collective readers before we can be of much help. Pictures would be extra handy if you've got 'em.

 

If it is a SD rack it is worth over $1000. if it is in solid condition.

It that truck is running well and is not completely beat up, even with 189k you should be able to get your $3k back out of it. I know I would...

That looks like a SD rack. They don't make that rack anymore. You don't see them for sale used very often.

I've been looking at some of that stuff for my D1 rack,bumper,winch, all good condition,

probably $1000 -1500 low to high

truck complete running well, $2500 - $4000 poor to clean, running well, minor issues.

As is check out this 3k truck i find very expensive parts PIAA P-3000 lights on the bumper cost $300, old man emu 4" lift kit with old man emu shocks, rear ladder, 4 off road lights on the roof rack, new tires, rear bicycle carrier. even though it has 189000 miles no oil or oily dirt anywhere under the drive train and the interior shows no wear, engine looks and sounds great. i have a DI with 108000 miles and it looks like a war veteran. my son has a DII with 100k and it looks decent and will be the recipient of all the good parts. The winch bumper is really heavy (2 persons to lift)will that change the stance or handling

 

yes. you will need heavy duty suspension to offset the weight of the bumber and winch.
