sometimes the purge valve sticks open and let’s vapours go into your intake causing havoc on fuel air mixture and really rough idle at times
YESSS! I love proposed solutions! Now I need to find the purge valve
I will do this tomorrow and report back!

Edit: okay it looks like it is right under the IACV. So what is the fix, take it out permanently?

Okay I am going to order this, looks like it will fit in: https://www.hyundaipartsdeal.com/gen...910-22040.html

What is your favorite type of injector cleaner? I assume it's a fuel additive? Thanks!!

no not permanent just take it out and plug the vacuum port on the intake
results should be immediate
the ecu will throw a code after a bit of driving if you leave the purge valve unplugged

Techron, Royal Purple, Lucas, STP...in about that order. I've used them all...and truth be told...they all seemed to work as expected.

If you get rid of the magnaflow exhaust I'll take it off your hands for no charge. I could probably even cover half the shipping cost. Lmk

I like the idea but you want me to pay 1/2 the shipping and shift it to you for free?

I'm kidding of course lol. Unless you really want it gone...

I actually run a muffler delete pipe (big center one, not the back resonator) I bought from the UK, which is why I mention your problems shouldn't be attributed to the exhaust. I'm assuming by exhaust you mean the catback right? Magnaflow also makes Y pipes with high flow cats. I like the way the exhaust tips come out the back on their system, really gives it a cleaner look.
