Default Rough idle when cold and getting worse

I have a 00 with 116K and it is idling rough when cold and is now idling rough when warm. I have changed the plugs and wires in the last 10K. I had an O2 Sensor issue a couple weeks ago and that has been fixed. Could this be and IAC issue something simple like a clogged fuel filter? I appreciate all your help and if I forgot anything please ask and I will do my best to help you help me.

Has your disco ever had an induction cleaning/ throttle body cleaning?

You could try an IAC cleaning. Unbolt it, spray it down with O2 safe carb cleaner and knock the gunk out. Make sure to let it dry out before re-installing it.

It could also be your mass airflow sensor.

You throwing any codes?

What type of wires/plugs are you running?

It's definitely not a fuel filter.

Have you replaced your air filter, what octane gas are you using, what brand of plugs and wires did you install, are you having to add coolant, any white smoke when it first fires up? Answer all questions.

The air filter was a K&N and I went back to paper two months ago. I burn 92 Octane. I have Bosch +2s and BMX plug wires. I have not had to add coolant and yes there is a little white smoke when I start it up. I am not getting any codes.

Next time you start it cold in the morning, run around and sniff your exhaust, see if it smells sweat from coolant.
I would be glad to walk you thru an induction cleaning if you want to de carbon it.

The smell this morning was not sweet, it smelt more like fuel. Could something be causing me to run overly rich?

So last night on my way home the Service Engine light came on and I limped home. This morning I did the code check and I got back P1174, P0159, P0150 and P0174. I hope this little bit more information helps to solve the mystery...

2 codes, 174 and 1174, lean codes say MAF and the other 2 are 02 failures. Time to go shopping, for 4 02's, rover Connection or AB and a MAF, call Tony at 650-365-4145 for a pretty good price and great service.
