Default Rover "chugs" a little in 3rd

I have noticed that when I am driving around town in 3rd, it feels like it is chugging along like a train (hope that makes sense). It is slight but still a little worrysome. I am showing some codes to the effect of a vaccum leak and/ or oxygen sensors but don't know that is the prob. Any help would be appreciated.

When was the last time it had a tune up?
How many miles on it?
What does it do when you are driving in town in drive and not third?

Haven't tuned it up again since I bought it last year. 126,000 or so miles and no, I don't feel anything unless it is just in third. (btw: it had 76,000 miles on it when it had its last tune up) Still ome wires and honestly Im not sure what plugs. I plan on replacing these soon.

It sounds like you need a good old fashioned tune up.
You have put 50k on those plugs so they are worn out, and the wires are definetly worn out.
I am betting that a good tune up will make your "chugging" and O2 problems go away.

Hopefully you're right. So far this truck has been a gem so I'm just waiting for something to blow up. I almost lost the tranny and transfer case with a ds failure but it didn't shatter on the interstate... waited until it was being loaded onto a flatbed truck. I have a perpetual bad feeling after buying the first truck I test drove... Let me ask you all another question, what would you guess an intermentant SRS light means. I don't want to take it to the dealer and I don't mind the airbags not working, it gives me a rush to know I could wreck and not have the proper saftey equip!! The only thing I'm worried about is the thing exploding in my face after a hard bump or some such... any thoughts?

Usually a low voltage situation will trip that fault. Might have your battery and alt tested. Of course, check your cable connections first....

Do like OKDisco said, and then if that cheaks out then clean your seat belt latches.
There is a electric switch in there and when it gets dirty it can set off the SRS light.
They get dirty from not being used, so if you almost never carry a front seat passenger then the contacts inside the latch will get dirty and set off the SRS light.
Buckle and unbuckle the pass seat belt 6-8 times.
Also have your battery and alternator tested.
