i had an idea for a cool light conversion, taking the round headlight and two round amber lights (directionals) from a D90 and put them in the housing areas on the Discovery.

Obviously the parts wouldn't fit, but if a custom housing was made and the same lights were used, it could look very interesting. unfortunately i don't have photoshop but maybe someone who does could see what that would look like?

 

I don't think it'll look that hot. Here's a quick 5 minute PhotoShop job I did.

edit: The lights aren't to scale, so it could look at little different. Have you read how long it takes to put the '03-'04 lights in earlier D2's? It's about 16 hours if you know what your doing and have all the right tools. This I would imagine would take longer than that.
