The same thing happened to me years ago. I was able to find one from one of our well known parts recyclers. Try Paul, Will or Marty for starters.
Otherwise I think you can put together a replacement using bolts or threaded rod, nuts, washers and a galvanized pipe nipple. I know that's what I was looking at doing before I found my replacement. I think I posted something about doing that on one of the forums a long time ago but I can't find that post right now.

The previous owner of my 2001 D2 removed the running boards. I have the running boards but don't plan on putting them back on. The bolts are still in the mounts on the truck though. If I can get them out (which I planned on doing soon anyway since I want to get rock sliders) you can have them.
hey andrew, that's very nice of you! i am a newbie on here as well. as long as you spray some rust penetrator on first and let it do it's job all you need is a 13mm wrench to hold the top of the bolt (which is above the triangular body mount) and the long bolt is a 15mm...hopefully it'll come right off for you. i'll obviously pay postage so let me know!
Here you go. All three are well known on this and other LR forums. You can also PM each of them here.
I thought Andrew0 was going to give one to you.

Hey I checked earlier today and this is what I have -- not sure if it is what you are looking for: They look like long studs, two on each side, it's actually a long hexagonal cylinder that a 17mm wrench fits on if I remember correctly and some threads coming out the bottom of it, which a 15mm nut fastens to. I have all four and all four nuts. Is this what you are looking for?
hey andrew, that is them! awesome. if you dont mind i would love to have all four in case i sheer another one off. can i cut you a check for your time and the postage?
