00 disco, top right of insturment cluster

red SRS light stays on, I was told seatbelt tentioners
Does that make any sense?

 

It could be a seat belt tensioner, or it could be the spiral ring in the steering column or a low voltage spike. Any will set the fault light and the only way to know for sure would be to have some one with a good scanner to read the codes.
