Was working on my car earlier this week with jacks. Afterwards I read their was a big recall because on the HB jacks which can collapse if on an uneven surface (like you see here in the picture!)
Yep I was recently doing the same exact thing with my HF Jack Stands..... I just checked my #'s and they aren't listed on the recall list. As a CYA I always tuck the rim/tire under the frame on each side whenever I'm working under it and having it supported by jack stands.

Nice post CVHYATT. Another issue is that the harbor freight manufacturer also makes the same jacks for other brand names......sometimes there are differing quality lines within one manufacturer as well....
