Default SAI aluminum cross over pipe

Hi,

Is the aluminum SAI cross over pipe (connect to the two SAI control valves) that runs along the back of the engine mounted? If so how? Found that mine was just hanging. 2004 D2 4.6 with 70k. Thanks

It should be bolted to the back of the upper inlet manifold with the coil pack. Two bolts, 8mm socket and small hands will fix the glitch.

I am replacing the valley pan gasket and have the upper and lower intakes off as well as the coil pack . I am still struggling with where this thing bolts up. My coil pack is missing two bolts at bottom of opposite ends (where coils bolt to coil bracket) Is there a bracket that goes in there and then the aluminum tubes to coil bracket? Many thanks.

There is a small black "L" shaped bracket that bolts to the intake. Then the pipe bolts to it. Maybe somebody never installed it back after the work was performed? Just look for a small "L" shaped bracket. Should be there.
