Default SAI pump hose connection?

So I finally got around to ordering a SAI pump for my 00 disco. It's been without one for almost a year haha. I bought one of those reman ones that has a new bearing, filter and bolt/nut rivit replacement jobs so you can tighten/service it down the road, plus it has a 2 year warrenty, not bad.

Anywho, she mounted right up, but I can't ge the hose on it? Rave just says to "unclip" to remove and reverse to install. This is just some strange plastic o shape around the nozzel which has a rubber oring on it as well. It comes off on two arms and forms a halo around the opening. On the pump itself, there are to slide channels that line up with the arms on the halo piece from the hose, but it doesnt snap in, or screw on, or clip onto anything as far as i can tell. How does this thing go on (and STAY on)? I assume I'm missing a piece like a retaining clip or something?

Thanks all!

Hey Kodiak, where did you get the pump?

I'll try and get a look at mine and let you know how that hose attaches. I just took mine out the other day, and put it back in, and I don't remember there being any hitch with getting that hose back on...

I am having the same problem with the SAI Pump hose connection. I replaced the OEM plastic hose with heater hose but I can not get the plastic pump fitting to stay on.

Does anyone have any idea?
