Swapped axle 1/2s and diff in the front, all went fine.........except now 3 amigos. Am I correct in assuming it must be hub abs issue? Nothing else was messed with and all was cool with my braking prior. Do we agree with hub, culprit?

No idea on code... Looking now for best deal hawkeye. I will check out the sensors first. The reason I assume that the problem is with a hub connection, is that I had some down time (waiting on axle seals) and excessively cleaned the hubs and sensor area. Could have been damaged/dented. I shall inspect connections and sensors.... Just making sure there is not another possibility.
Nanocom is on sale I think until the end of the year. 20% off.

My suspicion is growing that if a wheel is turned by hand during the time the SLABS compfuser is awake (that faint buzzing sound you hear for nearly half hour by the ABS modulator after any door/hood is opened) even whith no key in the ignition; the three friends show up.
Perhaps doing that kind of work/handling would be better with battery disconnected.

In my opinion, yes.
I've got both, and the nanocom seems to do more advanced things and because of the touch screen it is a little easier to use for many things, especially anything that requires data input. The nanocom will sync the ECM/BCU/Instrument panel and the hawkeye (as of version 5) will not. Nanocom makes keyless remote programming much easier. You can log many things to a file on an SD card while driving down the road, and then open them in excel on your computer. That way if you want to see before and after data on something like o2 sensors or maf sensors you can. Or you can more easily compare with other users.
You can also calibrate the SLS if you have it. And bleed the ACE system. The hawkeye might do ACE bleeding too, I'm not sure as none of my discos had it.
On the later Land Rovers, LR3, RRS, etc it really sings and dances. It will update the computers, and change settings that the hawkeye cannot.

Thanks. I did some research (a lot of forum reading) looks like the only complaints on the nano are from the td5 owners......99 problems, but the diesel ain't one....,unless lack, there of, counts
