Default Score: Land Rover 2, Toyota 0

My son was driving Redrover to his job after school yesterday and was rear-ended. Redrover was pushed into the rear of the LR4 ahead. The LR4 was stopped in the left lane waiting to make a turn. My son stopped behind the LR4, but the Toyota behind him did not. Minimal damage to the rear for both Redrover and the LR4. A little more damage to the Toyota (as in it's probably totaled).

The rear step is buggered and both fog/turn signal lenses are cracked, but otherwise there is only a small crack in the rear bumper cover. (Damn, still no Greg Davis rear.) Amazing given the damage to the Toyota.

In the front the impact with the LR4 rotated the ARB bull bar upward. Based on a quick look last night it appears that the damage is to the crush cans only (plus the dimples where the light-mount tabs touched the hood).

And people wonder why we drive these things.

Glad your son was able to walk away from this one.

Jap crap. I prefer plenty of metal around me particularly here with some of the drivers I've experienced. At least LR's can stand a shunt.

It looks like the Toyota drove under him. Maybe he should have put it in reverse and finished it off.

More like it pissed on the bumper. Bleeding would've been oil, not coolant.

At least your son is alright. If that Toyota was taller it would have fared better, I bet.
