Both of my new pumps were All Makes brand. I sent the second one back and asked for my money back. I purchased a more expensive OE brand pump from another vendor and installed it last night. It immediately started working without any problems at all. I will never, every purchase another All Makes brand item.

Nothing worse then having to do a job more than once because of poor QC....

Where were these new/bad allmakes pumps purchased from? I installed mine today and have spent 3hrs bleeding it to no avail. I've done the swap a few times before on D2's with success so I'm having a hard time believing it's my fault.

Be sure to check the inline filter/screen that is in the reservor, maybe your not getting suficiant flow of fluid? Does the fluid bounce around in the tank? It should

Me too! I just called them and they are refunding me my money once I ship it back, but I'm gonna have to pay for the shipping. I am pretty happy they don't have anymore in stock, because I'd be beyond pissed if I got another bad one from them.

I put my old leaking one back on and ordered a new allmakes from Lucky8. Justin said allmakes makes 2 versions of the pump. A cheap one and a higher end, and that he no longer sales the cheaper version that Miami British sales due to them not working.

Can't wait to FINALLY be done changing power steering pumps. I'm getting way too good at it!

Well I finally got around to rebuilding my old OEM power steering pump and installing it... I have my power steering back!

The two Allmakes pumps were duds.

Miami British seems to be a scrap or junk yard.
You may have gotten a junk pump.
