Thumbs up seems like a good place to park a land rover to me

So i was going into Trader Joe's the other day and saw this sign in front of a few of the parking places close to the front door.

I then decided that being that my tailpipe exited close to the ground that my land rover could be considered a "low" emitting vehicle.

haha, i got some odd looks both going into the store and when i got in my rover and drove off. I found it to be quite comical due to the huge amount of hippies that live in the seattle area

yah thats a good place for your Rover, keep those priuses of S out of there! I know what ya mean about the Washington tree huggers. They just closed down another big offroading area, reiters pit.

It was great. Driving out of the parking garage i made sure to give it a couple of revs and set off some car alarms before i left. Sort of the icing on the cake now that i don't have my 2001 Ford "PowerSmoke" to roll coal on them anymore. did i mention that i hate hippies

um yeah, we are the ones paying for the gas...they can keep their opinions to themselves. handicapped parking discrimination is one thing. i pay $70 at the pump every 5 days, i'll park where i want.

I agree with you all.
Last summer we made a trip to a new "nature perserve" -zoo that had just opened up and all the parking spots closest to the main doors had those "green" signs on them.I couldn't help but think of all the locations and sights in this world that the green freaks wouldn't even know about if it weren't for some one in a "Rover" or similar vehicle having gone there first to document them !

Nice work "green"wade! Dumba$$ hippies Seattle makes me sick sometimes, no wait, ALL the time.

No doubt that's discrimination! Better call Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and get them down there right away! Who enforces crap like this anyways?....picturing Al Gore.....on a Segway....
