Land Rover Discovery II Rear Air Suspension & Coil Spring Kit - Land Rover Parts & Accessories At Atlantic British

I would try to avoid a truck that has it.

Mine has it and I really like it, especially when I pull a trailer. You don't get any squat in the back when you load it up and the ride is always nice. If you get a disco with 7 seats it's going to have it, unless it has been changed back to coils.

After eventually swapping mine to coils, I would suggest to look for one WITH the SLS. Yes, look for one with properly functioning SLS. Enjoy it while it works, and fix any simple issues that come up. But once it goes haywire, swap to coils (easy to do and cheap even with new coils $200ish) and sell off the compressor and other parts if they were still working.

I ended up with cash in my pocket after converting, and enjoyed the SLS while it lasted.

I like my SLS too. One advantage using it off road is the (*** jacker mode) Press the button next to the hazard button. It will raise your rear end about 3" for a greater departure angle. Only disadvantage you need to find a place on the trail to travel 15mph or great to automatically lower the height. Sometimes is not possible for awhile. I have a spare factory air spring new in box...for when I get a leak. I hope to score a spare compressor for parts to have as a back up. I;m going to keep the system going as long as I can fix it.
I have a steel tire carrier and bumper so the air bags keep my height nicely leveled out.
