Sell or part out 2001 land rover discovery ii se7
Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on selling or parting out my truck? Was involved in a collision yesterday & it's totaled. Truck starts & drives but not safe for the road until work is done & I wouldn't recommend it is driven anywhere at the moment, will need a tow to it's new home, or just part it out. Not sure what to do.

If I remember the motor has high mileage, and not sure if/when the head gaskets were done.
With that said, I think you could get around 5-600 for the motor if it doesn't overheat or have any ticking noises. If it was lower mileage and you were a shop that could offer a warranty more like 1000 plus would be in order.
The rest all depends on condition. But as I said in the email, buy another one, merge the good parts and sell off the balance.
You can put your new tires on the one you buy as rarely does a car come up for sale with new tires. You need a car anyways and sounds like you liked your rover.

That's well and truly bent but you're OK and that's what matters, another truck is just money, $1800 or £1200 is a relatively cheap loss than a huge hospital bill. Imagine what it could have been like if a small/medium city car
IMO I'd part it out if you've got the space to store it and do that. I've heard said in the UK you maximise your RoI by as much as a factor of 3x plus. Paul Grant would know far better in the US. Good luck.
