When they say heavy duty, they are not talking about the product being robust and lasting a long time, they are talking about load hauling capacity. Heavy Duty is for heavy loads. If you go to the OME or any other spring/shock website they will tell you specifically what load each level is meant for. In OME world the Light Duty setup is still rated higher load capacity than stock. Terrafirma HD is closer to OME MD than OME HD, etc.
Do your research on this, get the right kit for your actual usage, your kidneys will thank you later...
Here is a pic of my 2" OME MD lift with 265/75-16 LT Michelins... I got these tires because of how much highway miles I drive, and the last set lasted over 80k miles. Not as aggressive looking as the BFG KO2 but smooth on the freeway and great on the gravel sand and snow.
With the new drive shaft, I have read so many mixed review... I drive on highways a lot. i've reado some say the heavier duty shafts cause too much vibration on the highway. Is this true? Is there a recommended option besides Tom Woods? I just don't want to risk any issues after putting on the K02's
Thanks... we almost have this list ready to order!
