Series I & II parts interchangable?

Will a series I bumper fit a Series II? Does not need to be perfect trim fit. Same question for a windshield, but does need to fit right. Thanks

Short answer no, nothing from a DI will fit DII and vise versa.

Engine blocks and heads, transfer cases and differentials all are swapable but NOT the axles or third members or transmissions.

I was thinking about starting a thread on parts that will interchange

4wd/CDL shifter - yes
window/heated seat switches - unknown
lug nuts - anybody know? I started to pick up one at the salvage yard
