Series I MFU Diagnostic: Nothing Happens?
Here's one for the experts.
Ran the diagnostic for the MFU as per RAVE instructions (thanks for this assistance in a previous post), or rather, tried to run the diagnostic. Nada, zip. Not even a beep, nothing. No diagnostic response means fried MFU? I also noticed that the indicator light on the Rear Heater dash-switch was not working. Since I am in the tropics, feeling for a hot element on the tailgate window doesn't really help me.
Any ideas? Should I just order in another MFU? Is this likely to be a recurring problem with the truck? (I am of the opinion that Series I Discos are electrically more reliable...)

The MFU is attached to the back of the fuse box in the cab. Pull it and check the connections before you get a new one. YOu can get a good used one at a salvage...
