Serpentine Belt Question
Can you recommend a name brand and type of serpentine belt for land rover disco II.
I see mine has a lot of small cracks, so its time to change.
I was told Dayco is an decent brand. Is this true?
I see Dayco has a belt with automatic corning enhancement $40 bucks, is this good?
Can you provide any knowledge and recommendations.
Thank you

Dayco is a good brand.
However, I have had problems with a minor squeal with a new dayco on my Disco. I plan to switch to a Goodyear Gatorback, which are highly regarded for their quality and squeal resistance. They are about the same price as a Dayco, but you'll have to order from Amazon.
I highly recommend you splurge and replace the idlers and tensioner assembly while it's apart. I had an idler fail while on the interstate and badly overheat my truck in seconds. It's worth doing while you are in there.

I used Rover's North (RN) and got their S belt, for my 'o3 disco. So, not sure the brand but it is working fine, having replaced it about month ago. I also ordered some tensioners and idlers from RN. All seems ok. I'll check under the hood and report back to you about the name of the manufacturer of the S-belt. Maybe Zach (ZGPhoto) can chime in? He works at RN.
