Why not go get the fault codes read and get back to us with those 4 digit number, then we can help you.
Go to a local auto parts store where they may still read them for free.
Oh, and start reading your owners manual so you get a better idea what makes your truck tick.

In reading these posts , codes seem to be about vacuum pump.Anything a layman can look at and maybe fix ?

They are lean codes, meaning the computer is seeing more oxygen in the exhaust than its supposed to. Could be a simple vacuum leak, or an exhaust leak prior to the oxygen sensors. Could be the engine not dumping enough fuel into the engine, but unlikely. How mechanically inclined are you?
