Normal, light should go out after a few drive cycles.

Default Service Engine Light after Sea Foam

Just gave the truck the Sea Foam treatment, along with cleaning the throttle body.

After the 30 minutes, the truck was hard to start and ran very rough for the first 30 seconds. After that, it ran just fine and blew out the white smoke after a few minutes.

During those rough early moments, the Service Engine Soon light flashed for 2 sessions. Now its on solid. I assume it was throwing misfire codes. I don't have a code reader. Will the light ever go back off, or do I need to go buy a code reader (if so, what's a good cheap one)?

Thanks

~Max
