DONT PANIC! Stay calm, everything is going to be OK. Slowly put the phone down and back away. The tow truck has been canceled, take a deep breath and have a Pepsi.
Tommorrowtake it to AutoZone and have the codes read, write them down and get back to us.
If it is running fine and nothing is leaking, its not smoking or on fire it is OK to drive, as long as the Service Engine Soon light isint flashing it wont explode.
So take a Ambien and go to bed and dont lose any sleep over it, it has happened to all of us, tell her its not her fault and that you still love her and that you will find out what is wrong and that you will get her fixed.
Goodnight Shawn. It's going to be ok buddy.

It's a Rover, get used to idiot lights coming on. The thing to remember is that as long as they are NOT flashing it is ok to drive.
Just keep an eye on the temp gauge and you'll be fine.
What did you just have done for $900?

It will help alot if you talk in terms we can understand and that specifically relate to your truck and it's problem.
Get the codes read and get the 4 digit code numbers back to us before you do anything else.

I had the rear gasket, the timing chain, crankshaft seal and water pump replaced.

Ive got 52xxx on her right now. I managed to get to autozone this morning and obdII readout was P0150. From what I understand its the O2 sensor. Does that sound right?

DiscoMike will know for sure what that code means, but if it is the O2 sensor make sure that you replace all of them at once. I think that you only have two, but they work together and if you replace just one it will mess with your MPG.

So I should tell my service guy to do both, or will he know to do that?
