Default Shell V-Power° Fuel System Cleaner

Has anyone tried this and seen good results? Ever since I switched toShell gas exclusivly i have seen improved preformance and a 1 MPG increase. It amazing how different their gas is, just go look at how they make it compared to other companies, theydo so much more to make it better. So it seems their gas is amazing, now I would like to try the fuel system cleaner. So is it any good?

Cameron.

I still believe Shell has the best oil design, but if you want to go for a well proven gas additive, here are my 3 in order of best on down.
B&G's 44K, the very best.
Chevrons Techtron.
Seafoam

Hey Mike, do you just put a can of the BG 44k into a full tank of gas and drive normally? How often to you recommend doing this? I have a 94 Disco and the 75k service is around the corner in a few thousand miles. Would this be a good time to add the BG 44k? The 60K service was completed at a LR dealership. What exactly do I need to do on the 75k service? Camdisco, I used to have a '83 Jeep Scrambler and started using Shell gas because the engine in the Jeep ran so much smoother with it than any other gas. Now Shell is all I use.

When using the 44K, put it on a full tank of high octane when you are going on a couple hour drive, that will give you your best results. Depending on your driving, quality of gas and other factors, 1 can every 12,000 is really a good idea.

Well, time to go fill up at Shell and tell the wife I went to Sams. She thinks that gas is gas.

Sometime Sam's and other large groups get decent gas, the additives may be a littl different, thats why a good gas additive is recommended once or twice a year.

I use the Shell System cleaner quite frequently. Im on my first tank in the Range, but I use it every 3000 miles on the Blazer. Seems to work pretty well, no hesitations, misfires, or bogging in 100k miles!

I've been meaning to try the Chevron w/Techron...what make's that and B&Gs so much better?

B&G just has the best products on the market, they are also the oldest company making this and did even go retail till about 4 years ago. In the dealerships we started using it over 20 years ago, and NO BODY makes a better product. Go on their web site and read up a little.
By the way, you only use it, on aveage, once a year.
