I don't have ACE, but I installed OME Nitrochargers last August and I agree, they are the best.

Best place to buy?

Anything special about the shocks for the Ace Package? I've seen several advertised for vehicles without ACE, so it makes me think there is some difference.

Additionally, My Disco II is not lifted and still has the stock rear air suspension with new OEM bags (and no - I am not looking to replace the rear air ride suspension with coils).

I might consider a lift, if one can be performed with the ACE system still in tact and while keeping the rear air suspension, otherwise, I would not be interested. I love the ACE package and won't give that up...

Yes, it can. Just use regular lift springs. I'd recommend Old Man Emu. If you go for the HD springs you'll actually enhance the effect you get from the ACE, because you'll have stiffer springs, so it'll handle better. You don't need anything special. Just normal springs and shocks. I'd suggest OME 779s and OME sport shocks.
For the rear, you're probably like me. I love my SLS-equipped Disco, and I wouldn't ever want to get rid of it. You can still lift it. Toddco Suspensions and RTE make SLS spacers, but I wouldn't buy the RTE ones over again if I had the choice. They're engineered very weirdly and take a lot more work to put on than they say. (At least that was the case with me.) I'd go with Toddco spacers. With the caveat that you should order them from Lucky8, because trying to get them from ToddCo is a damn nightmare.

Otherwise it's a pretty straightforward job. I loved the results I got with mine.

Any issue with Pinion Angle with a 2" lift?

Not a one. No real drivetrain issues at all. The only problems you might run into are having to add some spacers to your front cross member and you might have to extend your brakelines.

But that probably won't be an issue with OME shocks.

The difference between factory shock and aftermarket shocks is the size, capacity and most importantly the valving.
Las time I looked, I believe there were 5 or 6 different shocks, from the factory depending on ACE, SLS, 5 or 7 passenger and one for the performance package.
I have rune OME's shocks on my ACE for 19 years with great results. By the way< ran them with a near 3" OME lift.
If you have any questions, send me your number and I'll be glad to answer all your questions.
