Hi there, I'm new here and would appreciate any advice.

I bought an '02 plate Disco 2.5TD GS 7 seater, last April. Have just had the air suspension fixed on the Disco, and it is going in to get the front shockers done this week.

Question I hope someone can answer is when i contacted dealer to get price for parts - gave them registration number to check for correct stock no. The dealer asked if it was a private registration - when i said it isn;t, he said thats strange because your Discos chassis is a 2003, my car was first registered on 31 5 2002.

Anyone able to help, don;t know much about the manufacturing, but surely there is a mistake somewhere!

thats weird, i think i get what you mean, the records say its a 2002 but the chassis says its a 2003 ? could be a dodgy car man, have you tried gettin a full HPI check ?
