Default Should I ditch this amp and go back to factory? (Pics)

Hey all! Slowly going through the few items of oddity the prior owner installed and finally onto the audio system. The head unit and speakers are all stock. 100%. But then there’s this amp... should I keep this monstrosity or pick up a stock amp for size/weight? I know zero things about car audio.

Sony Xplod amps are very good. Keep it and upgrade the power and ground wiring to an 8 gauge.

If you are going to keep it, check all the wiring. I've seen some sh*tty work from people doing their own stereo installs that were fire hazards.

Yeah, I hear that about the risky wiring. Actually, this whole project began by me thinking the front passenger speaker was blown when in fact it's just not getting signal. The speaker is fine. So I've had to trace the wiring all back to the amp and hoping to find a loose connection or something that would easily fix the issue. We'll see.
