Default Should I or shouldn't I?

Okay I ran into a 94 Discovery. it has 126k on the dash, pretty good shape for about $2,000.

I wanted to have something for the winter to park my existing car. I like the style, it is different and I heard they are great in the snow.

The concerns:

I was told there is

- a oil leak (not that concerned it is a beater, or should I be concerned?)
- coolant leak (a lil more concerned)
-leak coming from the differiential box.

Is this something that would be okay to do, or should I run fast and far away

Thank You!

The coolant leak could be coming from the head gasket which is about 600 to replace.

Ya you can still drive it. You will just have to keep adding coolant.

For a winter vehicle, you should be fine, may do a couple repairs if needed but I wouldn't woryy about the oil leaks, can you see where th coolant is leaking from?

No I have not really been underneath the car...it was too dark to see.

Are there any things I need to look out for in this car....something that typically always breaks?

Thanks!
