I'm having trouble installing a new windshield pillar trim panel (side finisher-windscreen). I can't seem to get the spring clips to engage the metal pillar. Is there a trick to this as it looks quite simple? It's just not working for me and I'm not usually mechanically challenged. The three rivet holes line up but the rubber gasket is off the windshield itself.
