Default Side steps?

My Wife takes care of special needs children for a living and is having an issue with the kids not being able to step up into the truck easily. Is there any specific step that people have used with good results, preferably that doesn't cost $800+?

Mike,

There are a ton of these being parted out on ebay i'm sure someone can get you a set of stock steps for a reasonable price. try drillbit @ Category 1, Category 2 items in The Overland Rover Chop Shop store on eBay! or willtillery@roverguy.com

you can find people on this forum looking to get rid of the stock steps because they get ripped off when off-roading. so keep an eye out on the forums is your best bet, and check craigslist. the only time they are going to cost $800 is when you buy them new from a dealer. also try paulgrant@mac.com

Thanks for the info guys, but she just messaged me to let me know she found some for $300 that she likes, and they come powdercoated in black (thank god no chrome). If that deal falls through I will definitely check out some of these other options.
