I had mine built, I needed a step my wife is short. They are a bit wider than I expected but have worked out really well. It was 800 installed, which was pretty compared to what I would have paid after exchange and shipping to Canada

Which website are you referring to?

DCD is out of Ohio & specifically Land Rover fabrications ( I shouldn’t say specific, I bet he’ll make anything if you ask him)

Running boards was a previous suggestion; sounded like maybe not clear running boards are side steps...
they were popular on the HSE model. The parts truck I pick from has them. Look a lot like Richards, only not made of steel & as he said, stick out slightly less

Discos came with running boards. Yes you step on them.

I'm somewhat confused as you seem to be looking to buy new running boards...just go to a local you pull it and buy a pair for $100.
I disassembled mine and welded in a piece of square stock to make them extra durable.
