Hm, mine didn't even have that. I made my own a while back though.

 

Street Wolf, what did you use to make your cabin air filter?

 

Bought a generous amount of the carbon material from Home Depot / Lowe's then cut it to length, folded it over a few times to make it thick and match the height of the vents, then stapled the ends together to keep it formed that way.

You can also use aquarium filter material and cut it to size.
