I am looking over a recently aquired pump company and there is a fab welder that is great. We have some down time and I need to keep them busy. Thought I would see about sliders. Anyone have or know where I could get some drawings for sliders on a D1? I would prefer a ladder frame style, but anything will be considered. I might just have him look at the plastic guards and go off that. I know there is a curve to work with, just thought it would be easy if someone has something they want to share.

Other then small burgers, what are sliders?

 

metal bars that replace the plastic pieces under your doors. (Rock) sliders for sliding over rocks and not ripping your doors off..

I may not use them in the near future, but this is where this truck is headed later in life. I figure there is nothing I can do about the mileage other than make it worse....
