Default Slowly leaking coolant...

My disco has been slowly leaking coolant and I am pretty sure, judging by what I have read on here that it is the heads...so now my next question is I found the head gasket kit on AB for 160, which doesnt seem too bad, but how meticulous is the actual job itself? I've been through the entire 60K myself...but not sure if this is over my head or not...any advice would be great. Thanks.

Is it leaking on the outside or the inside? If outside have you found where it is leaking from? I did my head gaskets with no experience just following the Rave CD. It was nerve wracking but worth it. I would say though make sure it is you head gaskets and not somewhere else.

If you have some skill, you could do it yourself.
You will also need new head bolts, a new t/stat and the up-graded upper radiator hose that has the bleed screw built into the black plastic"TEE".

We don't need a picture, just a specific description of where the coolant is flowing from off the block.
OK, sounds like someone has already up-graded your upper hose then.
