Default SLS to Coil Conversion

Here are some before and after pictures of a D2 that I helped convert from airbags to coils. The owner of this particular D2 will remain nameless. The physical conversion is a lot easier than I expected. I was shocked to find out how little actually held the airbags in place. The coils we installed are OME 762s to go with the 751 front coils.

Me under the truck having a good laugh about converting it to coils.

Disco "WHO"?
Tom just couldn't wait to let you guys know that the supporter of SLS has given up.
To be honest, we guessed it right, only about 1/4" lower in the rear know and it seems to ride pretty well.
I am no longer able to do my own work and Tom and a friend offered to help out, which was greatly appreciated.

How are you going to reprogram your slabs unit? Dealer, hawkeye or other?

Did you use the spring perch from a D1? Because I have that exact same setup and my back end is about 1 1/2" off. I have heard the d1 perch will net an extra 3/4". I would like to see some pictures of how it is sitting now. Also how many isolators were used?

Nearly 3 weeks of sitting will sure let the rotors rust, but, it is gone now after a drive into the mountains.

Yes, I used a coil can from a D1, my mechanic told me it would give me more lift the the D2 coil can.

We didn't use any isolators on the coils.

As a quick update, especially for any of you that are considering doing a coil conversion, think twice about it. I had a chance to go hit a couple rough roads over the last 2 days and I hate the ride, it is much harsher then when running my 3" SLS set up.
In my case, id made this change because it was cheaper, but beware, you do get what you pay for, fix your SLS, don't dump it.
